October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The Board of Sponsors of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is dedicated to increasing awareness of breast cancer issues, especially the importance of early detection of breast cancer. This message is communicated through a nationwide educational campaign to audiences including women in all age and ethnic groups, the general public, state and federal governments, women's health care professionals, and employers. Learn more about how you can help by becoming a program leader or you can download the 2003
Promotion guide.

During 2003 an estimated 211,300 new cases of breast cancer are expected to occur among women in the United States. NBCAM encourages all women to recognize the importance of early detection by participating in National Mammography Day on October 17, 2003.

Autum is here, and we can expect the rainy days, and cool breeze. But we also have the beautiful colors of the changing leaves, and the holidays to look forward too. I know the holidays are rough, but we can get through it , with the help of eachother.

Halloween is approaching and we will be adding a Holiday page to the site, and this will continue for every holiday per month. Dont Forget to post pictures of your angels here on earth, all dressed up.

A Page For Thanksgiving will be made so that members may add a special message to their angel in Heaven, as well as a list of what they are thankful for.

A Christmas page will be made as well, where we can leave special chirstmas wishes to our angels in Heaven.

  • This will continue for all Special Holidays

It's so very difficult to let our loved ones go, But they're in perfect peace, and that's so comforting to know. Our hearts will surely miss them, but we miss them with a smile, Trusting we will see them once again, in just a while. We close our eyes and picture a world that holds no pain, A paradise of joy and hope, as gentle as the rain. There we see our loved ones -- they're suffering no more. It ended when they found the key that opened heaven's door. --Gale Barzilla

"Hold Them A Little Closer"

I pray you never walk through
The agony I've known
I pray that all your little ones
Will stay until they've grown.
I pray that you can really hear
My heartbroken cries
So you will know the anguish
When A Child Dies.
I pray it makes you hold them
Closer to your breast
And savor every moment
As if it were the best.
For none of us can ever know
How soon they will be gone
And we we'll have the memories
To hold us in the dawn.
Oh dear and tired mother
Of rambunctious little lambs
Do not grow weary of washing
And helping little hands.
Remember that these precious ones
May not be with us long
And we will have to suffer
Such pain when they are gone.
So when you cry at one more day
Of toys spread on the floor
Imagine if they weren't there
To mess up anymore.
Think of all those precious times
You'll miss and wish you had
You'll see those things that irked you so
They weren't all that bad.
Hold them closer for awhile
And stroke their silky hair
And hug them gently once for me
I wish that I were there.
For as I cry out for my son
Who cannot feel my touch
My heart cries out to tell you all
You can never love too much...
Dear Mommy

When you wonder the meaning
of life and love
Know that I am with you.
Close your eyes and feel me kissing you
In the gentle breeze across your cheek.
When you begin to doubt
that you shall ever see me again,
Quiet your mind and hear me.
I am in the whisper of the heavens
Speaking of your love.
When you lose your identity,
When you question who you are,
and where you are going,
Open your heart and see me.
I am the twinkle in the stars
smiling down upon you,
Lighting the path for your journey.
When you awaken each morning
not remembering your dreams,
But feeling content and serene
Know that I am with you
Filling your nights with thoughts of me.
When you linger in the remnant pain,
Wholeness seeming so unfamiliar,
Think of me.
Know that I am with you
Touching you through shared tears
of a gentle friend Easing the pain.
As the sunrise illuminates
the desert sky
In that breathtaking brilliance,
awaken your spirit.
Think of our time together,
all too brief, but ever brilliant.
When you are certain of us together,
When you are certain of your destiny,
Know that God created that moment
in time, just for us.
I am with you always.
